Adam McElhaney
Chief Software Bad-ass

Exohive is the playground for Adam McElhaney, a Software Engineering major at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I work with various forms of media, from graphic design to iPhone applications, mixing medias whenever needed. I have recently completed work on several iPhone apps, which are available now in the iTunes store. Several more apps are in the works. One day I plan on creating apps for the console platforms such as Xbox360, PS3 and Wii.

In my spare time, when I am not rock climbing, playing paintball or racquetball, I build websites for small business and organizations. When it comes to web design, I very much value the open source community, and my preferred development environment entails using tools developed by the open source community:  Linux, PHP, MySQL, and Apache. I like to integrate various other sites including MySpace, Facebook, and Youtube into my designs.

One day I hope to hit the lottery and purchase a small chain of islands in the Caribbean and start my own Jurassic Park. If only I could just get my hands on some dino DNA…..

Lou Collins is a software developer with an interest in design and efficiency. She grew up in Alaska and moved to Tennessee where she graduated from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a BS in Computer Science.

Her interests outside of the computer include baking, cooking, reading, and playing tennis. She is TV-obsessed and adores a wide range of series from Big Love to Battlestar Galactica.

She also aspires to one day be the cook on Adam’s Jurassic Park. As long as the kitchen comes with a Raptor-Proof Guarantee.
